Frequently Asked Questions
When is the Flow band shipping?
Flow Bands are currently in production and we expect to ship the first units in November.
What is Fascia?
The connective tissue that surrounds our muscles, organs, and entire bodies. It can be as flexible as silicone and as strong as tensile steel. New research is beginning to reveal the integral part fascia plays in our ability to feel good & participate in life.
How strong is the Band?
Strong enough to last a lifetime under normal use constraints. Avoid sharp objects to prevent nicks or tears. This band is not rated like a resistance band, but standard use requires only 3-15lbs of force, while break force is well over 100lbs.
Where did this Idea come from?
The Fascial Flow band was developed after years of experimenting with rehab equipment and ultimately inspired alongside training in the fascial maneuvers protocol by Human Garage. Read the full story on our about page.
How do I use the Band?
You can use the band in a variety of ways! Generally, the idea is to grip both handles and apply gentle pressure to different areas of the body experiencing tightness. Sustained pressure combined with breathwork can help relieve pain and open up tense or tight areas. The band can also be used as an aid for dynamic or passive stretching.
Which pressure level is right for me?
If you're just getting started with fascial release, we'd recommend starting with the gentle option. For those further along in their unwinding who desire a stronger grip, try the firm option. Sometimes you may desire a different pressure depending on the body part you are working with, but both bands are very adaptable on their own.
